That commission is what keeps this site running and free to read. It does not change which tours are listed or the order they appear in: tours are chosen and described on their merits, and the ratings shown are the operators' own figures from their booking listings, not ratings issued by this site.

What the ratings mean

Where a star rating and review count appear, they are the aggregate figures published on that tour's booking listing at the time the page was last checked. They are the traveller ratings collected by the booking platform, reproduced for convenience, and they can change over time.
